About This Project

Logan Robins is an emerging director, theatre creator, designer, and actor located in Halifax. Robins is the founder and artistic director of Manatease Theatre with whom he has most recently produced and directed Christopher Durang’s absurdist comedy Titanic. Some recent creative projects include adapting and writing lyrics for a new musical based upon Lope de Vega’s Fuenteovejunaand being assistant director, programme designer, poster designer, and sound designer on the Fountain School of Performing Arts production of Odon von Horvath’s Don Juan Comes Back from the War. On the horizon, Robins is currently adapting selected pieces by Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca for the stage using a dynamic combination of shadow puppetry and live instrumentation.
