About This Project

Logan Robins is an emerging director, theatre creator, and actor located in Halifax. Robins is the founder and artistic director of Manatease Theatre with whom he has most recently directed Christopher Durang’s absurdist comedy Titanic. After his success in 2017 with adapting and writing lyrics for a new musical based upon Lope de Vega’s Fuenteovejuna, Robins is currently adapting selected pieces by Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca for the stage using a dynamic combination of shadow puppetry and live instrumentation. You can also find Robins assistant directing Odon von Horvath’s Don Juan Comes Back From The War and acting in Moliere’s The Precious Maidens Ridiculed and The Forced Marriage this spring in his final year at the Fountain School of Performing Arts.
