The Accidental Mechanics Group produces and tours new works exploring and celebrating the nature of queer identity, performance and persona, employing whatever means necessary: storytelling, conversation, music, dance, media. At the centre of any Accidental Mechanics Group event is an intimate act of direct contact between the performer(s) and the audience.

The company is currently in residence at The Theatre Centre in Toronto, creating a new show, The Unfamiliar Everything: a cross-discipline performance developed in collaboration with queer artists from across the country.
