BUS STOP THEATRE COOPERATIVE RUSH RENTAL AGREEMENT
The Bus Stop Theatre Cooperative (BSTC) offers a rush rental model to groups and individuals. The rush rental agreement states that the renter pays no rental fee, and ticket sales from the event are split evenly between the Bus Stop Theatre Cooperative and the renter. The BSTC retains a minimum fee of $50 to cover the cost of power, bar service, administration and HST. The BSTC will retain a maximum fee of $250, after which all revenue from ticket sales goes to the renter.
Revenue split: 50/50
Minimum retained fee: $50
Maximum retained fee: $250
Rush Rentals are subject to the Bus Stop Theatre Cooperative’s Rental Terms & Conditions along with the following specifications:
Technician
The renter must hire a BSTC technician at $15/hr, or provide their own technician with the BSTC’s approval. The technician fee will be paid from the total door revenue, and therefore shared between both parties.
Bar
Bar service will be provided.
Booking
A rush rental cannot be booked further than 21 days (3 weeks) in advance. Rush rentals are for single night events only.
Promotion
It is the responsibility of the renter to produce promotional materials. The BSTC will share promotional materials provided by the renter.
Special accommodations
The BSTC is open to proposals and will consider accommodating special requests on a case by case basis by gauging the following criteria:
